About the event
The Red Ribbon Event 2025, in collaboration with Hi-Wire Brewery, will feature local panels on exhibit in recognition of World AIDS Day to raise greater awareness and education about HIV/AIDS. This effort recognizes the urgent need to respond to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the South, where half of new HIV diagnoses are reported.
Dr. Khadijia Tribie Reid is the 2025 Red Ribbon Event Speaker. Dr. Reid is a pediatrician, public health advocate, and pediatric medical director at MedNorth Health Center. Her clinical practice, community leadership, and child health advocacy at both the local and national levels center on the needs of children and families. Fostering interagency collaboration is a large part of Dr. Tribie Reid’s advocacy work. Her keynote is timely and underscores the importance of the work we do together, Ending the HIV Epidemic!
