About the event
The Red Ribbon Event & The Quilt Comes to Wilmington 2024 is a joint initiative by SEEDS of Healing, Mouths of Babes, Hi-Wire Brewery, Novant Health, and St. Jude's Metropolitan Community Church. Each venue will feature a panel exhibit from the National AIDS Memorial Quilt. The Quilt Comes to Wilmington is part of the National AIDS Memorial’s efforts to bring the Quilt to communities across the United States to raise greater awareness and education about HIV/AIDS and to remember those lost to the pandemic. This unified effort recognizes the urgent need to respond to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the South, where 52% of new HIV diagnoses are reported.
Joseph (Joe) Conway is the 2024 Red Ribbon Event Speaker. Joe believes in healthcare transformation that thrives with the intention of engaging, innovating, and including its members so that every individual can excel. Be sure not to miss this event celebrating unity and support!
